Vis­it­ors to the gal­lery were invited to ask the artist Mar­cus Coates ques­tions that pre­oc­cu­pied them and struggled to answer them­selves. This film is his answer to the ques­tion, ​“At what point do we start to exper­i­ence the need for con­di­tion­al exchange?”. Coates worked with an audio record­ing he had made of his daughter’s voice at 3 days old, he digit­ally slowed it down by 3 times.
